On the 13th October 2011, Mediaworks Online Marketing was invited by AIS, the Associated Independent Stores Group, to deliver a one-day seminar on the benefits of online marketing for business.
Comprising of three separate talks on search engine optimisation, conversion rate optimisation and pay per click, Brett Jacobson (Managing Director), Phil Dedman (Business Development Director) and James McElrue (Business Development Manager) spoke to several members of the AIS Group on how online marketing can increase brand exposure, traffic and revenue through their websites.
Many who attended were traditional high street companies with little-to-no focus in the online aspect of their businesses and were surprised to see how entering into online could affect their business in such a positive way.
In the weeks following our presentation to AIS Group members, we have already been appointed by several of the companies and organisations who attended after witnessing the benefits that an effective online marketing campaign could bring to their business and are keen to use Mediaworks’ expertise and knowledge to gain an advantage over their competitors.
