Background

As one of the leading UK stockists of professional cycles and equipment, Leisure Lakes Bikes were looking to increase their online presence to attract new and existing customers who were unable to go to their numerous stores Nationwide.

Our brief was to:

Deliver content optimisation training to their web management team.

Provide technical consultancy and liaise with their development company to ensure 100% SEO compatibility.

Increase online visitors and revenue throughout the campaign.

Improve exposure through several online sales channels incl. Google Merchant Centre

Strategy

Our strategy was to deliver Content Optimisation Training at their head office in Lancashire to over 15 staff members responsible for the creation of new products on the website through a one day training session.

Through a large technical audit of their current website, we detailed required changes to ensure maximum performance in natural search as well as other avenues including:

Google Merchant Centre

Google Places

Through the targeting of high volume, high competition keywords, our own SEO practises worked hand in hand with Leisure Lakes Bikes’ implementation of optimised content at the very start of their stock management process.

Results

During the first year of our contract Leisure Lakes have experienced a massive increase in online visitors and revenue generated through the website.

A year on year comparison for non-brand Organic traffic shows how Leisure Lakes experienced:

A 102.22% increase in traffic to their website.

A 67.47% increase in transactions through the website.

A six figure increase in revenue generated through their website equating to a 100.71 % increase in sales.

Background

As a well-established retail business, specialising in men’s and ladies designer clothing, Delima (Van Mildert’s parent company) wanted to replicate their high street success online.
In July 2009, Delima approached Mediaworks to further increase the number of visitors to the website, increase brand awareness and ultimately the number of sales and total revenue. Therefore the following campaign goals were established:

Ensure increased, quality traffic from the search engines.

Increase the conversion rate and total number of sales.

Increase overall non-brand revenue generated via the search engines.

Strategy

A structured and integrated online marketing campaign was devised which included SEO and consultative CRO to improve the quality of traffic and ensure that the number of visitors that made a purchase on the site was maximised.
As part of the campaign, Mediaworks undertook a number of innovative processes including:

In-depth competitor analysis

Keyword research

Sector analysis

Alongside the onsite SEO work, we also conducted a full CRO analysis including:

Complete funnel visualisation.

Innovative usability tests.

Wireframe Re-Design.

Results

Our SEO campaign has returned a vast increase in rankings for Van Mildert. This in turn has delivered a 284.5% increase in non-brand Organic traffic.

Background

As one of the leading UK sofa retailers, ScS were looking to increase their online presence to attract new and existing customers who were unable to go to their numerous stores Nationwide.

Our brief was to:

Optimise their website for a variety of 1, 2 and 3 word key phrases.

Work closely with their assigned development agency to consult on technical changes to the website to ensure 100% SEO compatibility & improve conversion rates.

Strategy

Entering the campaign part-way through a website redesign, our strategy was to ensure the new website adhered to basic SEO & CRO requirements.

Once this was established, we consulted on several changes to the website to implement advanced CRO techniques including multivariate testing, whilst ensuring this did not affect our SEO campaign strategy.

By focusing our SEO campaign towards competitive key phrases such as ‘sofas’, we aimed to penetrate the competitive online furniture market in order to increase ScS’ online revenue through increased sales.

This required extensive consultation meetings to ensure our SEO advice, recommendations and requirements were met.

Results

During the first month of our recommended site changes going live, ScS experienced a massive surge in new traffic and sales as a result of our Search Engine Optimisation and Conversion Rate Optimisation suggested changes.

During this time ScS experienced:

A 736.82% increase in revenue generated.

A 426.67% increase in sales conversion rate.

Background

Following a successful summer SEO campaign leading garden product retailer, Hayes Garden World, wanted to increase their exposure and drive sales of artificial Christmas trees through their website.

The seasonal campaign needed to ensure high rankings for a number of highly searched key phrases over the October-December period (where searches were at a peak) in order to maximise total sales.

Strategy

In order to achieve the objectives, Hayes Garden World needed to compete against a number of well-established websites specialising in Christmas trees and related products. Based on in-depth competitor analysis and detailed keyword research, Mediaworks were able to devise an online marketing strategy that would ensure high rankings in time for the seasonal peak.

Mediaworks undertook a comprehensive link building campaign in order to develop natural, Christmas related links to the Hayes Garden World site to build trust and authority and establish the site in Top 5 positions for the pre-determined key phrases on Google UK.

Results

In line with the campaign objectives, Hayes Garden World experienced a large increase in the Search Engine rankings across a five-month period:

Background

As an internationally recognised manufacturer and distributor of baby care products, Tommee Tippee approached Mediaworks to increase the number of visitors to the Tommee Tippee UK website via the major search engines in order to increase online exposure for their product ranges during the research and purchasing stage.

There were a number of core objectives set out for the Tommee Tippee UK site:

Ensure the Tommee Tippee brand was ranking prominently in the major search engines for the main product ranges.

Increase the total volume of non-brand traffic from the search engines delivered to the UK website.

Strategy

The online marketing strategy for Tommee Tippee (UK) was centred around achieving high rankings for a number of generic and highly competitive terms for which a large number of well-established online and national brands currently ranked including Argos, Boots and Kiddicare.

As such, we looked to undertake a complete SEO campaign which included a complete overhaul of the current site content using bespoke in-house tools to analyse the most relevant and achievable keywords.

Further to our initial onsite work, we also undertook a targeted link development campaign to achieve the desired rankings for the core key phrases important to the organisation.

Results

Following the initial and on going SEO work conducted by Mediaworks, the Tommee Tippee (UK) site has seen substantial increases in rankings for their main key phrases as well as an increase in the total volume and quality of non-brand traffic delivered to the site via the major search engines.
