On the 4th July we spotted a huge change to the Google UI –Tabular Sitelinks.
We could only get one user in our office – a not signed in search on Google.co.uk – to replicate these SERPs but it would appear as if Google are playing with their standard mega sitelinks that they launched in August 2011 and utilising tabular sitelinks.
Several of our clients have received these tabular sitelinks as well as major brands around the world.
Initally, our first thoughts are that Google are utilising existing Schema markup to dissect and arrange the data into tabbed categories based upon the navigation of the website, but this is something that we will be looking into in more detail.
