Marketing Week Live 2013
On 26th and 27th June 2013, the Mediaworks crew journeyed to London to present at Marketing Week Live, Europe’s premier marketing event.
The event was held in Olympia and offered attendees the opportunity to learn from the best our industry has to offer.
Brand new for 2013 was the “Ask the Experts” zone which gave people the opportunity to receive one-to-one advice in a private setting. Plus, the chance to chat directly to our business development team, who were on-hand to offer strategic and technical advice relating to any SEO and search engine marketing challenges.
Tracy Allardice, Business Development Manager, said: “Due to the renowned reputation of Marketing Week Live as a major event in the marketing calendar, we were heavily involved across multiple areas within the 2013 MWLive show.
The best part of the event, from my perspective, was being able to feed-off the buzz around our exhibition stand, as we were continually inundated with marketers who were initially attracted by our ‘Win an iPad Mini’ Competition.”
Standing on stage with the marketing elite, Dan Hoggan, Head of Strategy, presented to eager crowds on the most pressing topics and important issues facing digital markers today. Dan said: “I felt it was essential for the audience to understand how to strategise for the ever-evolving SEO landscape.
More recently than ever, companies have been penalised by Google for not future-proofing their SEO campaigns, therefore, I focused on the evolution of SEO in order to help attendees prepare their search plans for the future”.
We had an amazing first time at Marketing Week Live and look forward to being heavily involved next year and taking advantage of the continuous improvements and new zones expected for MWLive 2014!
