Following another record-breaking year of business, Mediaworks are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the second year running for “Best SEO Agency” and “Best Retail Campaign” at the UK Search Awards 2012.
Celebrating the very best in SEO, PPC and digital marketing, the UK Search Awards – held at the impressive Emirates Stadium in London – have shortlisted Mediaworks for four awards in total including “Best SEO Campaign” and “Best Retail Campaign” for our work with footwear giant Brantano, “Best Leisure Campaign” for our successful strategy with Grainger Games, and “Best SEO Agency”.
Featuring a judging panel of some of the UK’s leading names in Search including Google UK, State of Search, Beyond and Expedia EAN, they will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries, consider any supporting materials and agree a winner for each category. The winners will then be announced at the awards dinner on Thursday November 1st.
On hearing the news of being shortlisted in four major categories, Mediaworks MD Brett Jacobson said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted again this year, and to go from being shortlisted for two awards last year, to four awards this year is a testament to the hard work of all our staff. The competition is tough in each category but we are confident that the evidence of our success with our clients will put us in good stead for a win.”
To reach the shortlist for an award such as Best SEO Agency, there is a stringent set of criteria that Mediaworks had to meet including:
- Agency Objectives.
- Recent Campaign Examples.
- Recent Achievements.
- Challenges to the Business.
By demonstrating the success of the last 12 months – and how Mediaworks have provided impressive return on investment for our large portfolio of clients – has put us forward for this prestigious award in the digital sector.
The quality of the competition this year is impressive with the UK Search Awards attracting some of the largest SEO agencies in the UK such as LBi and MediaCom. Just to be shortlisted is high praise indeed and the icing on the cake for Mediaworks as we celebrate our fifth birthday this month.
To celebrate five years of impressive growth into one of the UK’s biggest digital marketing agencies – and the last year that has seen Mediaworks welcome 15 new members of staff – we are preparing to move into a new 7,500 sq ft office space. Currently undergoing extensive refurbishment, the new home will be high-tech, open plan and created with an aesthetic that will stimulate creative success.
This move marks another milestone in the Mediaworks story, making it possible to continue to expand our dedicated team of SEO professionals to meet the demand of new business, as well as maintaining the excellent results of long-standing clients. Fingers crossed that the next milestone is a big win at the UK Search Awards so the celebrations can continue well into November.
