Hayes Garden World are a leading online garden retailer based in Ambleside, Cumbria, specialising in garden accessories ranging from garden benches to barbecues and bird feeders.

Mediaworks were asked to promote their extensive range of products online and successfully increase targeted visitor traffic, conversion rates and sales.

Objectives

As a supplier of thousands of garden products Hayes Garden World wanted to increase their online presence to reflect their already large offline customer base.  Mediaworks’ aim was to increase natural search traffic to the website through a bespoke search engine optimisation campaign.

Solution

Working closely with Hayes Garden World, Mediaworks examined their existing online marketing and recommended a variety of on-site changes.  By concentrating on areas where Hayes Garden World was underperforming, Mediaworks advised on several key areas where improvements could be made to help them increase their natural search results.

Results

Following Mediaworks’ handling of their SEO activities, Hayes Garden World enjoyed a dramatic increase in rankings for their intensely competitive core search terms.

As a result of this Hayes Garden World received an increase of 548.85% in Organic (search engine) traffic to their website in their first month.  Following this rise their website has also seen a rise in consistent natural search traffic due to our ongoing link-building campaign.

Whilst this remains our priority, we are now also working on a seasonal online marketing campaign over the coming months.
