Mediaworks is a large, strong independent agency and the Leeds office is a small, but quickly growing team. We develop strategic and creative brand communication campaigns and projects, within a data driven and performance focused model.

We’ve a vibrant company culture and are looking for the right people to work on exciting projects for big brands across Healthcare, Financial Services, Education, Home & Interiors and Utilities.

Ideally you will have 2-3 years proven experience in a Client Services role within an agency.

Confidence and Skill Set

  • Shows mastery of account management administrative tasks, delivered accurately, on time and with excellence e.g. returning client calls, preparing agendas and meeting documentation, call reports, kick offs, internal and external status meetings and reports, cost estimates, end of project reviews.
  • Demonstrates an excellent understanding of brand development and manage multi-channel campaigns and comms delivery (including digital, print and broadcast).
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of the insight and strategic thinking that underpins the delivery phase and can confidently explain the detail and value to clients.
  • Able to set KPIs, monitor and analyse data, create reports and present on the success of activity confidently to clients.
  • Able to lead core project meetings e.g. Status and briefing meetings and end of project reviews.
  • Responsible for evaluating client requirements and the development of clear and inspiring briefs.
  • Ensures accounts and projects are set up on systems and folders are opened promptly and communicated to the team.
  • Able to produce clear, informative and inspiring proposals and documents in both Word and PowerPoint format and present them on to client with knowledge and confidence.
  • Able to structure and facilitate brainstorms with effective results and work with creative team to develop creative proposals.
  • Responsible for creation of project plans and booking required resource to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Able to present ideas confidently and gain buy-in from clients.
  • Acts confidently at the limits and, when needed, beyond the limits of job role e.g. able to step in and lead critical meetings when AD is absent.
  • Acts consistently in the workplace according to values of openness and honesty
  • Actively broadens digital marketing knowledge and skill base using industry websites/news and following competitors.
  • Understands agency vision/proposition and acts in accordance with values and beliefs.

  • Ownership of budget management from estimating to invoicing and monitoring time utilisation.
  • Ensure all information is recorded in the Mediaworks CRM System.
  • Ensures POs are raised and supplied in a timely manner.
  • Forecasts, estimates and invoices accurately and on time.
  • Ensures payment plans are adhered to and late payments are chased and any issues flagged with AD.
  • Ensures appropriate measures are in place to assess client satisfaction and actions changes where necessary to address any issues.
  • Positive evidence of understanding client needs and using client, market, industry, trends and competitor understanding to add value to the client’s business and the client/agency relationship.
  • Uses accurate information / insights when drafting proposals.
  • Ensures appropriate measures are in place to assess client satisfaction and actions changes where necessary to address any issues.
  • Applies waste reduction and cost saving techniques to drive financial efficiency e.g. when booking resource, focuses on time utilisation, mindful of expenses.

  • Applies the basics of team management, clarifies team roles and responsibilities
  • Participate in regular 1:1 meeting and performance appraisals to review performance. Assist in personal development plans and regular training to develop your skills. Work towards goals and objectives to support personal development.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the business implications of their own actions and takes financial responsibility.
  • Works co-operatively as a member of a team.
  • Pro-actively shares knowledge and information to promote effective team-working.
