Shopping Advertising Specialist

As a Shopping Advertising Specialist based in our Newcastle Head Office, you will report to the Performance Marketing Director. You will be responsible for delivering efficient and profitable PPC (Pay Per Click) shopping campaigns for clients. Apply Now. Own Your Future.

Specific Role and Responsibilities

  • Extensive knowledge of Google Shopping and other shopping based platforms (Google Merchant Centre, Bing Shopping, Amazon Shopping)
  • Be commercially aware, of and demonstrate growth through client accounts
  • Demonstrate growth and create a full shopping strategy for clients
  • Manage international and award winning PPC campaigns
  • Attend client meetings and deliver strategy to multiple stakeholders
  • Google Ads certification including Shopping
  • 2+ years experience in PPC (with core knowledge of the main platforms and channels, Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a finance role.
  • Experience of Microsoft Excel.
  • Enthusiasm, positive approach and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Personal Qualities

  • Educated to degree level in marketing, computer science, mathematics or equivalent.
  • A passion to work in marketing, advertising & campaign management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential and Microsoft Powerpoint is desirable.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Is commercially astute and possess a strong analytical mind
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Thorough, accurate with excellent attention to detail.
  • A team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed.
  • Ability to work to under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and a willingness to contribute ideas.
