Background

Northgate vehicle hire is a UK-wide provider of hire vehicles to the trade and the public. Despite their wide-ranging physical premises that include over 75 branches, their web presence needed a boost to help them engage with an online audience.

Mediaworks relished the challenge of working with a large organisation to build their digital presence and define their online goals. With Northgate, it was important to identify what the business wanted from their website. Strategy

With traffic and increased interest in hire leasing a primary target, we developed our strategy around boosting Northgate Vehicle Hire’s digital presence. To begin with, we looked through their website and identified SEO issues to help establish a good base before beginning our outreach process.

We worked together with Northgate to identify keywords that they wanted to target and built our campaign around creating identification between the keywords and the Northgate vehicle hire brand. Our SEO team provided continual updates and recommendations to the company throughout the campaign to ensure they stayed ahead of the changing landscape of search.

Our outreach team studied Northgate’s competitors and developed unique, superior content that targeted the keywords and we contacted bloggers, magazines and online news outlets to generate an online awareness of the business.

Results

Northgate Vehicle Hire already had an established physical presence throughout the UK. Here at Mediaworks, we were able to help bring their online presence up to par. Our year-long campaign resulted in:

  • A 24% increase in online goal completions
