Van Monster is the sister brand of Northgate Vehicle Hire PLC. They act as a retailer to the public, selling used vans that are ex-fleet and ex-hire vehicles from Northgate. Their online presence needed to be developed to help them reach new audiences. That’s where we stepped in, lending our digital expertise to the company to help boost their presence and develop a new online audience. We brought our full range of online search marketing tactics to bear in a strategy developed to increase traffic and deliver Van Monster’s goals.
Our plan for Van Monster consisted of a full site audit, identifying areas for improvement that would result in a more search-friendly website and would set a baseline for our campaign to leap from. Following this, we looked at ways to get the Van Monster name out into the vastly competitive search landscape. We first identified keywords and target websites. Our copywriters then went to work on weaving some keyword-focused, high-quality content that we sent to leading web publications to build brand recognition and build signals that told search engines that Van Monster was a destination users needed to visit.
Our campaign with Van Monster was a clear success, securing excellent results for ourselves and their brand. Due to the fantastic returns we delivered, our relationship with Van Monster was renewed and continues to this day. Our campaign achieved its goals in a big way – increasing the audience and the conversions on the Van Monster website. In a competitive, saturated market we managed to drive a huge increase in traffic and goal completions – which helped cement our partnership with Van Monster.
