Our design and development team worked with YSJU to expand on early iterations of a new brand and vision for the University.
The 2018 Clearing Campaign was an opportunity to implement a new design and layout that was clear, simple, dynamic, and vibrant. We worked on a design library that used a core set of components that reduced the content and increased use of space. We implemented animations to make all pages feel engaging and dynamic. To support this, we built components on a responsive grid to ensure an improved user experience on smaller devices.
We crafted informative, concise copy, and our SEO team provided keyword research for page optimisation. The image library we used included a range of personas to portray diversity. For example, flashes of fluorescent colours allowed us to attract our users’ attention to core information.
Mediaworks built out all components using HTML/CSS. These were then given to the YSJU internal team to implement into the Terminal Four platform.
We also created all social, paid and printed adverts for the campaign. This ensured that off-site material used to drive traffic followed the same approach for continuity purposes across all touchpoints.
