Brett Jacobson, Mediaworks, Named As Young Business Executive of the Year 2011

Managing Director of Mediaworks, Brett Jacobson, won Young Business Executive of the Year 2011 at the 28th North East Business Executive of the Year Awards, run by The Journal and the Evening Gazette, which took place at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park on Thursday, 17th November 2011.

Shortlisted alongside Sarah Gregory, MD of Springhill Farm Accommodation and Will Ryles, founding director ofDovcor, Brett was pleased with the win just four years after starting the North-East’s leading search engine optimisation company, Mediaworks.

Speaking of the win, Brett said “It’s an honour and a great achievement which I’m very proud of. To be honest though the credit needs to go to the team at Mediaworks as without their fantastic support and determination this wouldn’t have been possible“.

Being named Young Business Executive of the Year 2011 comes on the back of the biggest year of growth and success for Mediaworks; Nominations at the prestigious UK Search Awards for Best SEO Agency and Best Use of Search: Retail, the appointment by several leading companies including Viking Direct, Alfred Dunhill, Regus, Deuter and Grainger Games and the continual expansion of the business into a multi-million pound success has made 2011 a memorable year for Brett and the staff at Mediaworks.
