It looks like the Mediaworks team will have some extra secret Santa gifts to buy this year! Five new members of staff have joined the ranks to further strengthen our dedicated online marketing team.
We’ve welcomed two new faces to our PPC department. Mark Roll is joining us as a PPC executive, taking on the challenge of creating new PPC campaigns for a wide variety of clients operating in sectors as diverse as travel, technology, retail, outdoor and pharmaceutical. After globetrotting around South East Asia, Australia and Canada for two years, Mark has got his feet back on the ground and is ready to dive head first into some fantastic campaigns and further expand his knowledge of online marketing.
Derek Gray also joins the team as an apprentice in PPC. Having previously completed a computer games design course at Gateshead College, Derek is eager to learn all of the inner-workings of pay per click within Mediaworks under the careful guidance of our head of PPC John Cave, who recently shared his PPC wisdom on the matter of Christmas ad campaigns, here. Derek said: “I can’t wait to get stuck in. I’m looking forward to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a full-time member of the PPC team.”
Our line-up of talented outreach executives has expanded even further with the addition of Dan Smith. Hailing from Brecon in Wales, Dan recently completed his degree in Journalism at the University for Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey. When he’s not building relationships with clients, he’s performing sharp spoken word poetry in his spare time.
Rachel Marshall is Mediaworks’ new accounts assistant. Before joining the team, Rachel worked her way up from the position of apprentice administrator at a hardware supplier for disabled children, to an accounts assistant. She juggled all this whilst completing her NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin. Rachel will make a cracking addition to our very busy finance department, where she’ll have plenty of opportunities to put those juggling skills to good use!
Last, and by no means least, is our new client relationship executive, Kelly Lord. After graduating in Media Production, Kelly worked for six years as an account coordinator for a security company, where she worked closely with high profile clients in the account management department.
Kelly said: “My new role will involve supporting the client relationship managers and their clients. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with all of our clients and becoming another crucial cog in the Mediaworks machine!”Say “Hi” Five!
