Mediaworks Golf Day Fundraising Success Supports St Oswald’s Hospice - Mediaworks

St Oswald’s Hospice’s Business Partnership Manager Jane Hogan and Corporate Fundraiser Siobhan Sargeant recently visited Mediaworks to collect the fundraising proceeds from the company’s annual golf day.

Mediaworks’ Game of Thrones-themed golf day raised £1,000 for St Oswald’s Hospice. Players purchased mulligans prior to their afternoon on the course, which not only included the standard 18 holes, but in true Game of Thrones fashion, there were additional “challenges” for players to contend with, such as archery and even axe throwing.

A fantastic day was had by all. Mediaworks’ Managing Director Brett Jacobson commented “We would like to thank everyone who attended our charity golf day. We are very proud to support St Oswald’s Hospice, a fantastic local charity who do great work across our region”

Jane Hogan from St Oswald’s Hospice said “St Oswald’s are extremely grateful to Brett and the Mediaworks team for choosing to donate proceeds from their golf day. Funds raised will help St Oswald’s raise the £7.5 million a year needed to continue to provide high-quality care to our patients and their families”
