Our open-plan space allows communication to flow freely among our teams – something which is key to running successful campaigns. With our ‘resident Spotify DJ’, the tunes are always keeping us company as we work, too. If you have a request, simply send it through via email and wait for your turn to sing along.
Fridays also see you finish an hour earlier, so you can kick-start the weekend. And, not only do you get a swift finish, but the beers also come out in the afternoon! Help yourself to a cold one – non-alcoholic options also available – and finish your working week in style.
Talking of finishing in style, every month sees buffet Friday take place. If you’re a fan of pizza and finger foods, this is sure to tickle your taste buds.
Unlike many companies, we won’t just leave you to scroll through pages and pages of training material. Instead, any new starters will be provided with in-depth sessions led by members of each department. So, for example, you’ll learn about our content techniques from a senior copywriter. We feel that not only is this a much more engaging way to learn, but it helps you get to know your fellow colleagues, too – and we’re a very friendly bunch.
While it may seem like there is a lot to take in, you are never alone. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been here a day, a year or a decade, if you have a question, don’t be shy; shout out and someone will guide you in the right direction.
We like to reward hard work here at Mediaworks. After all, our people are our priority. Each month, we reward two colleagues for their amazing efforts. But the acknowledgement doesn’t stop there. At the end of the year, every colleague of the month is invited to an exciting celebratory event. Previous years have seen our Mediaworkers head for 24 hours of fun in Magaluf!
It’s not just the top two who are recognised, either. We understand that it’s a team effort, so we offer a company-wide annual bonus scheme which is linked to how we perform as a business.
