Mediaworks will be making an appearance at SAScon Beta 2014 in just a few weeks’ time, when our Head of Search Kev Strong gives a speech about the potential pitfalls that brands face when they head online.
Kev will be speaking from 11.45am on December 2nd in Room 2 of The Comedy Store, Manchester. During the Online Reputation Management: Ensuring Your Brand Is Covered talk, attendees will learn how to assess the challenges they face when getting their brand recognised on the internet, and tactics for circumventing problems.
SAScon Beta is a spin-off event of SAScon — a major search, analytics and social conference held in Manchester annually between May and June — and provides people with unique strategies and ways of thinking in the ever-changing digital market.
“I am honoured to have my first-ever speaking opportunity at a prestigious search event such as SAScon, not only because of the quality of the speakers involved, but more the fact it was actually the first conference I attended with Mediaworks in 2010,” Kev said.
“Online reputation management (ORM) is something that I have taken a particular interest in while at Mediaworks, and I have been lucky to work with many big-name brands to ensure their online reputation management strategies protect them from the threats some brands experience in the online world.”
Kev will be bringing plenty of experience to the talk, having started in search in 2006. Since then, he has completed digital search strategies for specialisms including online reputation management, video SEO and local search. He was recently named the new Head of Search at Mediaworks.
