Mediaworks is hosting the ceremony to give the three most recent graduates, Beth Codling, Alice Fairweather and Keiran Wake, the chance to celebrate their achievements in the same way as those who have decided to study at university.

Gary Smith, Operations Director at Mediaworks, said: “We thought this was a great way to recognise the invaluable contribution that the apprentices have made to our company and our clients over the past 12 months.

“We also wanted the apprentices themselves to be incredibly proud of what they have achieved; some of them have the potential to become leaders of our business in the future and they deserve to be recognised.

“No matter whether it’s at a small or large business, it is imperative that any apprenticeship initiative attracts the best candidates. For our own apprenticeship scheme, which started in 2013, we did our homework and knew exactly what we wanted from the start, which really helped to attract, develop, and retain the right candidates for us.”

Currently in its third year, the Mediaworks apprenticeship scheme has helped to nurture and develop some incredibly talented members of the team. It has also helped to provide a valuable alternative to university for locally-based school leavers.”
