On Sunday 11th August 2013, we are hosting our annual Family Fun Day complete with our very own adrenalin-pumping Zip Slide Challenge. Mediaworks staff, family and friends will be hoisting themselves up and off the top of The Tyne Bridge – all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
To fast-forward our successful fundraising efforts, we’re searching for 180 volunteers to take to the skies with us and complete a scenic slide on the Newcastle Quayside.
This incredible experience is open to everyone, so grab your friends, family, colleagues and partners – everyone is welcome! It costs just £50 to enter, but feel free to raise additional donations for Macmillan if you wish. To request an information pack email email@example.com with your name and how many participants you wish to enter and we will be in touch with more details.
The Family Fun Day event is being held from 12 noon until 6pm on The Baltic river terrace, with face-painters, barbecue food and a wide variety of family fun activities guaranteed to keep both adults and kids happy.
We would love for you to come and join us in celebrating another great year here at Mediaworks, whether you decide to take part in the challenge or not.
To help us fulfil our aim of raising some serious money for the amazing Macmillan Cancer Support, and achieve our goal of getting 180 people across the Tyne – get in touch and sign up for a fun-packed afternoon of high adrenaline at one of the North East’s most iconic venues. Alternatively, feel free to donate over at our Just Giving page.Mediaworks Charity Zipwire in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
